Avocado Lime Crema
INGREDIENTS
Avocado Lime Crema
1 Large Avocado
1/3 Cup Sour Cream
1 Lime- Juice and Zest
⅓ Bunch Cilantro Leaves
Salt - To Taste
NEXT LEVEL TIP:
Take this Crema to the next level by adding a little kick, a tsp of ground chipotle will add a rich deep smoky flavor as well as some heat. Want more even more heat just season to taste with the ground chipotle at the end. If your looking for more of a fresh heat a seeded jalapeño or any fresh pepper will be great as well!
DIRECTIONS
In a blender combine zest of the lime, and juice from half of the lime, with pealed and pitted avocado, cilantro leaves, sour cream.
Blend to a smooth consistency.
Remove from blender season to taste with salt, and remaining lime. Store covered in fridge until ready to serve.
NEXT LEVEL TIP:
Want less dishes and more flavor? Always look at the order in which you're making dishes, or condiments, in the same cooking appliance or vessel. For example, make my Sofrito Vinaigrette in the blender first, don’t clean the blender before making this Crema. This will add some more flavor and less dishes!
