Rosemary Peach and Habanero Hot Sauce
INGREDIENTS
½ Cup Pilsner by Bohemian Brewery, or your favorite Pilsner Beer
1 Fresh Peach, Small Diced
⅓ cup Simply Squeeze Re’al Peach Infused Syrup
2 Tbsp Rosemary, Roughly Chopped
1 Tbsp Shallot, MInced/Grated
1Tbsp Oil
2 Tsp Honey
1-2 Tsp Habanero Hot Sauce, Yellow Bird
1 tsp Garlic, Minced
½ tsp Salt, Kosher
¼ tsp pepper
1 Tbsp Butter
NEXT LEVEL TIP:
If peaches are not in season, canned peaches, store bought or canned at home will work great. The syrup or liquid from the can can be used to replace the Simply Squeeze Re’al Peach Infused Syrup.
Directions:
In a small saucepan, heat oil on medium high heat.
Add Shallots, 1 Tbsp Rosemary, Salt, and Pepper. Turn down to low heat.
Stirring gently cook for 3 minutes.
Bring heat up to high, Add Diced Peaches, Honey, Habanero Hot Sauce, and Garlic
Stirring gently cook for 4 minutes.
Add ¼ cup of Pilsner, Bring to a simmer and reduce heat.
Let Reduce by Half, stirring occasionally.
Once Reduced, use an immersion blender, blend until slightly chunky..
Add ⅓ cup Peach Syrup, 1 Tbsp Rosemary, and remaining ¼ cup of Pilsner stir to incorporate.
Bring to a simmer and reduce by half, stirring occasionally.
Once Reduced, remove from heat, stir in Butter.
Taste for seasoning and add Kosher salt if needed.
Toss on wings and enjoy!
NEXT LEVEL TIP:
IF you like your hot sauces more silky and smooth, blend it sauce till smooth, and strain through a fine mesh strainer before starting on step 9!
