Summer Grilled Pork Chop Sandwich with Grilled Fennel Pesto Slaw
INGREDIENTS
Honey Mustard Herb Grilled Pork Chops (or chicken, fish, tofu, etc)
Extra Slaw Dressing, or Pesto
As Needed Balsamic Vinegar
1-2 Tomato Slices per sandwich
1-2 Fresh Mozzarella sliced ¼ in thick per sandwich
Your favorite Bun
NEXT LEVEL TIP:
Finding fresh hand pulled mozzarella is going to give you the best results, its going to have more flavor, melt better and it gives you a chance to create a relationship with your local cheese monger!
Directions:
Once pork is cooked begin assembling sandwich’s.
Light toast the insides of the bun
Place a small amount of the dressing on the bottom bun.
Atop of that place the mozzarella cheese, and immediately place the freshly grilled meat onto the cheese.
Place a slice of tomato, season with salt and pepper.
Top with slaw
Enjoy!!
NEXT LEVEL TIP:
If you don’t have any of the dressing left over, simply make a pesto mayo, by mixing 1 part pesto to 2 parts mayonnaise, it will be delicious!!
